Accept a UPI payment right inside the chat.

The order is agreed. Now comes the part that leaks money: “send GPay number,” “ho gaya?”, a screenshot you can’t trust. NudgeDesk closes it in the thread, a native in-chat UPI request in India, a payment link everywhere else, and marks it paid only when the gateway says so.

The problem it removes

The “share GPay number, send screenshot” dance loses sales.

You know the ritual. You type out a UPI ID, the customer switches to another app, mistypes a digit, pays the wrong person, or sends a screenshot from last week. You either trust a picture you can’t verify, or you make a paying customer feel accused. Both are bad.

The old way

  • Type out a UPI ID by hand
  • Customer app-switches, gets distracted
  • “Ho gaya?”, a screenshot you can’t verify
  • You guess whether the money arrived

With NudgeDesk

  • Exact-amount request appears in the thread
  • Native UPI opens and returns, no app-switch
  • Gateway webhook is the only “paid” truth
  • You get pinged the second it clears

How it collects

From “haa bhejo” to money in the bank, in three moves.

Collecting in chat isn’t a checkout bolted onto WhatsApp. It’s the payment request living where the conversation already is, and a confirmation you can actually trust.

01

It asks for the money in the same breath as the answer

After it has quoted the price and the customer says yes, NudgeDesk doesn’t hand them off to a link farm. The pay request appears right there in the thread, with the exact amount and what it’s for.

02

The customer pays without leaving the chat

In India, the native UPI request opens GPay or PhonePe inside WhatsApp and drops them straight back. No app-switching, no copying a number, no “which UPI ID is yours?” friction that loses the sale.

03

The gateway, not a screenshot, says it’s paid

The moment the money actually clears, the gateway webhook fires. That authoritative event is the only thing that marks the order paid, reserves the slot, and pings you. A screenshot never gets the benefit of the doubt.

Two rails, one conversation

A link that works everywhere. Native UPI where it’s magic.

NudgeDesk picks the right rail for the customer automatically. You never think about it; they just get the smoothest way to pay that their country allows.

The reliable default, everywhere

UPI / Razorpay / Cashfree payment link

A hosted link right in the chat: UPI, cards, wallets, whatever your gateway supports. Works in India and internationally, on any customer’s phone. It’s the dependable path we fall back to whenever native UPI isn’t available, and the confirmation still comes from the gateway webhook, not a screenshot.

India · INR · needs a gateway

Native in-chat UPI (GPay / PhonePe)

In India, NudgeDesk uses WhatsApp’s order_details flow so the customer pays with GPay or PhonePe without ever leaving the chat, and an authoritative “paid” webhook confirms it. No app-switch, no shared number, no guessing. This one is India- and INR-only and requires a connected gateway; outside India it sends the link above.

Watch it close

Order taken, paid, confirmed, while you were cooking.

A cloud kitchen at the dinner rush. Two thalis, a menu answered in Hinglish, a UPI request in the thread, and an order that’s confirmed the moment the gateway reports the money cleared, not when a screenshot arrives.

  • No app-switch: pay and return inside WhatsApp
  • “Paid” confirmed by the gateway webhook
  • The kitchen only cooks confirmed orders

The honest fine print

What we won’t pretend.

Native in-chat UPI is India- and INR-only, and it needs a connected payment gateway. For every other country, NudgeDesk sends a payment link instead, reliable, just not native.

A screenshot is never proof of payment. NudgeDesk treats it as a hint at most. The only thing that marks an order paid is the authoritative webhook from the gateway or native UPI system. This is deliberate. It’s how you stop “paid” fraud, not enable it.

We don’t hold your money. Funds settle into your own Razorpay or Cashfree account. NudgeDesk orchestrates the request and listens for the “paid” event. It isn’t a wallet or a bank.

Payment questions

Straight answers, before you ask.

Can it accept a UPI payment right inside WhatsApp?

In India, yes. NudgeDesk sends a native in-chat UPI request that opens GPay, PhonePe, or any UPI app inside the WhatsApp conversation, no browser, no app-switch, no “send me your GPay number.” The customer pays, and NudgeDesk marks the order paid the instant the gateway confirms it.

How is “Paid” confirmed? Do you read the screenshot?

Never. A screenshot can be edited, reused, or faked, so NudgeDesk treats it only as a hint, never as proof. The single source of truth is the payment webhook from the gateway (Razorpay / Cashfree) or the native UPI system. Only that authoritative signal flips an order to paid and pings you.

What about customers outside India?

Native in-chat UPI is India- and INR-only. For customers anywhere else, NudgeDesk sends a hosted payment link (card, wallet, local methods via your gateway) in the same conversation. It’s the reliable default everywhere. The customer taps, pays, and the confirmation still comes from the gateway webhook, not a screenshot.

Do I need a payment gateway?

Yes. NudgeDesk connects to your Razorpay or Cashfree account (or another UPI-enabled gateway) so the money lands in your account and the confirmation is authoritative. We don’t hold funds; we orchestrate the request and listen for the gateway’s “paid” event.

Can it take an advance or a partial payment to hold something?

Yes. It can request a full amount, an advance to reserve a slot or a piece, or a deposit, whatever your business runs on. The order or booking is only marked confirmed once the gateway reports the money actually cleared.

What happens if the payment fails or the customer abandons it?

Nothing gets confirmed. Because NudgeDesk waits for the authoritative webhook, an unpaid or failed attempt simply stays open, and it can gently nudge the customer to complete it within the messaging window, without ever wrongly telling you the money arrived.

Book a demo. We’ll collect a live payment in the chat.

Fifteen minutes, no slides. We wire a test line to your gateway and take a real UPI payment end to end, so you can see the “paid” ping fire from the webhook, not a screenshot.
